Very interesting that both Direct TV and Comcast are out due to technical difficulties. Two different technologies and yet both are out simultaneously.

Comcast gets from satellite what it sends out over cable. A large sun spot was about to have a climax on the sun a day or two ago, that can kill communications.

Interesting, TVMayor. It was only the local channels that were out on DirecTV for me, but a neighbor with Dish said his were fine.

just the hd was out. you can still watch your tv just go to settings and it will let you switch to non-hd i beleive it is called sd

Not on mine. All the TV was out - DTA boxes included.
