Sorry for the people losing their jobs but for the past 5 months wearing only T shirts which is pretty much what we are all wearing.

Sams has had some very nice pricing on golf shirts but who wears them now? Other than while playing golf that is.

I have been buying all my clothes from Land's End for more than 40 years. I hope they stay in business.

You'd better stock up (from July):

With debt maturities looming next year, Lands' End acknowledged that there is "substantial doubt" about the company's ability to survive over the next 12 months.

Don't worry.
Chinese manufacturers will not run out of cheap shirts.
Different label, same stuff!

we never shopped there much, but sorry to see it go...

shopping was already shifting away from 'brick and mortar' stores to online venues

covid-19 merely brought the tipping point closer....we'll see more 'familiar names' bite the dust before this is over

About ten years ago I was visiting West Point. After the tours we stopped in the gift shop. I was looking for a shirt. The one I really liked fit me we’ll however it was made in Vietnam Nam. I left the shop without purchasing anything.

Same difference it’s still made overseas with cheap labor. Impossible to find the made in USA label, Walmart, Sam’s, HD, ACE TRUE VALUE or LOWES among other companies. Any Villages Branded golf shirts $50 made in China I pick up a yard sales $2-$5. I call it dead peoples clothes.

I understand saving money but do not think I would feel comfortable wearing clothes from another person especially if he is no longer with us.

But that is just me

USA exported $206 billion in 2019 , should those countries stop buying American , lots of that trade was from high paying jobs , ill stick to wearing Amani, Hugo Boss and Nike that still give American workers jobs in retail .I am sorry for the workers in the store but buying a cheap $7 shirt becomes like ground hog day one washing and you have to buy another and another and another , you know guys getting out of the shorts you were in all day and wearing something a little nicer in restaurant won’t kill you and it might even helps you to eat less

Some folks don't like to spend ARmani, Hugo Boss and Nike prices. Power to those who do though. Should they have special sections in restaurants for the paupers with $8 shorts? Still made in the same sweat factories overseas in China, Bangladesh & Vietnam.

My clothes from Land's End never seem to wear out. Sometimes, I wish they would.

cant even clean themselves up at night , so let’s take back all the shirt jobs and then let those countries stop buying our heavy equipment, turbine ,aircraft and I could go on . And while we do that let’s deal with the unrest that happens in those countries when the jobs disappear. There has been better enforcement and more needs to be done , but for now life isn’t always fair
