Hi all, can someone advise how to dispose of motor oil? Thanks.

You do not say how much. Ask where you buy gasoline, often they will take it from you.
Call the company that picks up your trash. or the villages office.

Almost any automotive store that sells oil will have a disposal system, I use advanced Auto at 301 and 44, also some repair shops may offer this service.

Couple of options:
stop by any of the quicky lube/oil change places...they often will take it for free, or may charge ya $5. disposal.

Many fire depts, tractor supplies, etc can accept it as well.

There are (used to be) boxed kits, which contain a bio-absorbent agent in a bag, in a box, which you drain into, box up and then can legally throw out (per the directions), as the agent absorbs all the oil and turns it into a hard jelly.
