Disposal of a old golf cart tire?

Default Disposal of a old golf cart tire?

Does anyone know where I can dispose of one?

The "dump" on rolling acres road, just south of 466 will take them. Pretty sure they are open on saturday mornings. Not sure of what other times. If you go east on 466, make a right on rolling acres, it is within a mile on the left hand side.

I did that and they didn't take it. The guy who changed my tire told me the same thing so I'm wondering why they didn't take it?????

My understanding is that they will take anything, but.. you have to phone them for non-standard stuff (ie: tires, furniture) and they make that run on a different day.
But they will come to your address if you call.

Yes ,you are correct. I called the Collection Dept. today and they will not take old tires because it's considered hazardous material, so everyone will have to go to the dump on Rlling Acres Rd. from now on.
