Default Dispose of box springs

We are going to replace the queen size box springs of our guest bed. How can we dispose of the old one?

The company that delivers your new box springs should take your old one away. Mattress Firm is bringing new box springs for our guest bedroom, and they will take the old one away.

Otherwise, contact your trash collectors.

We took a boxspring out to the Sumter County Solid Waste location 819 CR 529
Lake Panasoffkee, FL 33538. Also one of our neighbors put one out on the curb on garbage day/recycle day and they picked it up.

Simply call the trash company and they will schedule a free pick up, usually in the next couple of days.

You can call the trash removal and give them 24 hours and they will come and pick them up (no charge). I know because we were replacing our mattress and wondered the same.
