Default dispose of non disposable items

We are moving and have a bag of light bulbs, batteries, paint and a cell phone. Usually there is a once a year collection of these items but I need to dispose of them now. Does anyone know where I can take these items? Thanks Please PM me as we are moving and I can get to the message more quickly. Thanks

If the batteries are alkaline, they can go in the regular trash. If lithium or in-cad, you can take them to Best Buy. If the light bulbs are fluorescent, they can also go to Best Buy as can LED bulbs. Incandescent bulbs can go in regular trash. The cell phone can also go to Best Buy. Make sure to erase all personal info from it.

Latex paint can be left open to dry out and then go in the regular trash. Oil based paints have to go to toxic waste, but you might check with a paint store or section in the hardware stores to see if they have a way to dispose of it.

I will also send this as a PM to you.

What about tires? We've had a couple of old golf cart tires in our garage for almost a year now, and I'd like to find out how we can get rid of them.

Thanks!
