Default Do you have a Sleep Number bed?

If you have a Sleep Number bed, do you like it? Can you adjust it to be very firm?

I can’t find a mattress that is as firm as I like, and rather buy another regular mattress that may not be perfect, I wonder if a Sleep Number might be the answer.

Thanks for any replies. I appreciate all.

We just got one (i8). We really got it so I can have a soft side of the bed and my wife can have a hard bed. She had a old Sleep Number bed in the past, and were using a bed I had that was to soft for her. As far as how firm, you can set anywhere between 5 and 100 firmness, it would probably be best for you to go try it out at the store. Spanish Springs area. I think they are really over priced, but that what she wanted.

We had a sleep number for many years, I liked it (firm setting) my wife did not like it she could never get warm enough. She said it was like sleeping on an air mattress. In any case there are local stores that will let you lay on one and they can give you your sleep number, this should give you an idea if they can git firm enough for you.

The local SleepNumber store is on 441 near Rolling Acres Road, across the street from Carrabas and the Staples/Target/PetCo plaza (called Rolling Acres Plaza).

To answer the question - yes, we have a SleepNumber, a C4 that we've had for over 10 years. It's still exactly as comfy as it was when we bought it, in the same condition, no wear or tear. It's one of the lower-end models and we got it with a "pillow-top" cover. I like mine sort of firm, but not super firm, and for me that's usually 45 or 50, depending on how my back feels that day. Hubby's is at I think 75, he prefers a firmer mattress. The 100 is incredibly firm, like sleeping on a padded wooden board.
