It's a Blessing to be able to live here. What are you grateful for?

I'm grateful for all the friends I have made here, the beautiful surroundings, having a passion for something other than work (hubby and golf is now my passion, hubby has always been my passion).

I'm so thankful to have retired before 60, and to live out the last third of my life here.

My screen name tells a lot about me 😃

Great neighbors, friends, and supportive parents. Sure is a huge change from Palm Harbor, Florida. That was kind of a bigwig driven small town. And I have been able to do my work especially after reporter Gary Corsair wrote an article about it in the Villages Daily Sun on Memorial Day of 2007. That helped quite a lot with informing my neighbors, friends at Doggie Doo Run Run, and elsewhere what I was all about. And TOTV also came along that Summer of 2007 and I met many nice people at various Crispers' meetings and some retired cops from various areas as well through this article any via other means. Many from big towns like NYC and Chicago.

Even met the niece of Mel Brooks which was very cool.

Hard work, living below your means is the reason we are here today. I don't consider it a blessing, rather the logical result of a spartan lifestyle.

"I feel a very unusual sensation – if it is not indigestion, I think it must be gratitude."

its a blessing simply to be alive anywhere. A place can't make one happy.

and it was not luck that created the opportunity for someone to move here. It was hard wok, sacrifice and logical planning for one's retirement

And yes I am grateful to my GOD. not to be would be plain hubris

I am blessed, lucky, fortunate and grateful.

I love the wisdom of my peers, and the pride they have in themselves.

It is justified and beautiful.
