Default Halloween in TV

Can i assume that since there are no young ones around for Halloween that no one stocks any candy to give out at the door?

Just wondering!

I know of no one who stocked candy to hand out to trick-or-treaters for Hallowe'en!

But, lots of folks stocked up for their own consumption! ;D

Highly, highly unlikely that there'd be any kids seeking hand-outs, here. It certainly wouldn't be allowed, either!

Personally, that delights me! My old neighborhood "up north" was inundated with "car pools" of too-old children, often not even taking the time to do a costume. The last couple-three years I was there, I turned off all lights and "hid" in the back until the street quieted down! Sad!

Thanks - we had 134 'kids' the other night. Many were older.

We had one teen who was with another friend and he didn't want any candy because he said he doesn't deserve it because he didn't bother to dress up. Didn't stop his buddy from taking any though.

We had about 100 kids at our house in Calif East Bay. We lived on a hill for 14 years and never got any kids to make the climb for penny candy so when we move to the flat land a mile away 8 years ago a big bonus was having Trick or Treaters (down side was that our kids were grown up and gone). Halloween is our favorite time of the year and we both love to decorate and pass out the treats.

Most younger kids are with their parents, middle schoolers are usually in groups of 4 to 10 and young teens normally not in elaborate costumes. However, this years best costume award goes to the last group of the night of four 16 yr old black kids (two boys and two girls) and Pomeranian dog that were all dressed as cast members from Wiz!

A couple of years ago we were in TV over Halloween. Grandkids were with us. Friends took us to a neighborhood where the TV employee's with children live ( can't remember the name of the village). Anyway, it was great fun, lots of elaborately decorated houses and tons of kids.
