Our First Responders...in particular, our Fire Department.

Today my wife and I delivered pre-packaged cookies to the local fire house. Let them know...dropped it off in Gloves and Masks.

Has anyone thought of doing this for our local Heroes.

And we are thinking of doing the same for our gate guards...who are still on duty

That was very thoughtful and kind of you and I pat you on your back (from 6 feet away) for your good deed. However the fact people don't bring things doesn't mean they don't care and/or they aren't in our thoughts. Kinda like flying the American Flag. Just because you don't fly the flag doesn't mean you don't love our country as some have suggested in other threads.

Your thread title "Doesn't anyone care about ..... Our First Responders...in particular, our Fire Department." leaves me with the impression I don't care because I didn't bring cookies. Not true.

Any time we see an EMS truck, a police car or an ambulance when we are out we always wave and give a big "thumbs up" EVEN WHEN THERE WAS NO PANDEMIC. I think they appreciate that just as much as a physical gift.
