Default Does anyone know the name of this tree?

I have a tree that was transplanted to our backyard. It has little white flowers on it now (that the bees love). It also gets red berries on it. It has grown really tall. I would love to know the name of it. Thanks.

Looks like a Holly tree. Yes, bees love this tree.

It sure looks like my old pal Joe--say hello to him for me

We have a Holly tree in the back yard. It was in the front; we kept it and had it moved to the back because the bees are all over it in the spring.

We also have Holly bushes for privacy. Cedar Waxwings love the berries. They come in flocks in the late winter to clear out the berries. Fun to watch them take turns devouring the fruit.

I just looked up the varieties of Holly trees...there are 400-600 different varieties! Some very interesting cultural history as well as the history of the species and how so many varieties occurred. Google is a wonderful tool!
