Default Activities for 6 yr old Grandaughter

I am so excited that my son and his family will be visiting us in our new home over spring break!

My Granddaughter just turned 6 and other than Disney World, which of course is going to occupy her for a few days, do any of you have any other suggestions on activities for her?

I heard that there is some type of summer camp activities in the summer. Do they have anything similar during the spring break season?

Thanks

Karen

Interesting you ask this question as my grandson who just turned 6 will also be visiting. Perhaps we could arrange a playdate at the pool or something. He will be visiting from April 13-20.

Good Morning,

Cara will be here the week before, but thanks for the reply!

The absolutely only drawback to living in TV is being so far away from my 2 granchildren, especially now that we have a newborn. BUT, nothing can tear me away from here.......I have found my paradise!

Too bad she will be here the week before. I hope you enjoy your time. I am fortunate as I have a 6 yr old grandson and a 2 yr old but since we usually only spend 6 months a year in the villages I get to see them the other 6 months.

This year is different as my hubby is on treatment and we only spent Nov and Dec in the vllages and then had to come home to be close to his Dr.

I have not spent a winter here in the last 4 yrs so needless to say I have been spoiled lol as it we have had a lot of snow and it has been quite cold.

My son and grandson and I are going to our place in the Villages for a week and I am sure looking forward to that time with them. We plan to do the Disney trip and he loves the pool and the golf cart.

My granddaughters are now 9 and 11 and have been coming down here at least once a year since I have been living here (4 years). We did do Disney a few times. Besides Disney we went to miniature golf off of CR466 and Rolling Acres road.

There is Uncle Donald's farm off of 27/441. Forgot the exact street, but there is a sign. Last year we went to SilverSprings Water Park which they just loved, but I don't think they open till May, but you can check.

We also did ceramics at Sumter Landing which they really enjoy. We have done it every year.

Enjoy your granddaughter's visit. Just being in TV and going to the Town Squares will be a thrill for her.
