since you are a courtyard you already have a enclose area, i would find out the cost of before and later of install of bird cage if not a\large difference wait a season and see hoe it goes, there are a few north that do not have a cage around their pool, saw them whn we were looking for resale

We just put in a pool in the backyard of our CYV and opted not to put up a birdcage. But we had them pour the concrete around the pool with enough space to add a birdcage in the future if we change our mind. We like it so far without the screen. I like the openess I feel when I walk out into the backyard.
