Default Looking for area rug repair

Hi, I have a nice area rug that someone cut a hole in for cables. I would like to have the hole repaired. Anyone have any recommendations for someone who repairs area rugs? I can deliver it for repair.

I expect there is little demand and that it is more expensive than replacing the rug.
I would go to one of the places that sell area rugs ask they can advise you. If the cutter did not cut out a section perhaps just tape the opening closed. Much of our world is held together with duct tape..

Having a section of a rug rewoven is done on expensive Persian rugs. Likely not worth the cost for an area rug.

They make a specific heat sensitive tape for joining rugs (seam tape), so IF the opening is just a slit, I would get some of this tape and using an iron apply it to the back of the rug. IF some if the material on the front appears to be loose, I would use a clear flexible adhesive to secure this, use adhesive sparingly.
