Unhappy dog owner who do not respect others poperty

OK I'm new here in silver lake and we have spent a lot of money replacing our sod and cleaning up our tree .I own a dog which I walk and take to the park several times per day I would never let him use y neighborhood lawns as his bathroom and if he did I would pick up after him and do .There are some who it appears are disable ad they walk their dog using a power chair or scooter fine but this does not mean you get a pass and your dog can use my lawn as its bathroom .
OK said my price pleas be considerate of you neighborhood do the right thing for all
Thanks for letting me vent

Stroglass, please consider gently confronting the offenders and see if it corrects the situation. Otherwise your irritation will just fester.

Or you could try putting one of those signs in your lawn out by the curb--you know, the one of a dog lifting its leg covered by one of those ghostbuster circles.

I agree with CF on this. Many people do not know or do not care what you are thinking unless you let them know. And many people have no earthly idea why you would object.

It doesn't make it right, but if they're in a power chair they may not be able to get out and clean it up. They may need to get one of the grabber type devices with a bag on the end. The dog shouldn't be on any more than a 6 foot leash and the grabber from a sitting position would probably reach.

I always hate to put limitations on anyone that is trying to stay active, but it shouldn't be at the inconvenience of another.

I wanted to place a sign but my husband does not want to anger any one as we are the Newbies here and still want to make friends and become part of the neighborhood .

Since they are disabled, maybe they would love an offer of assistance. They apparently are neighbors of yours and may become friends.

Is this a daily occurrence that the dog uses your lawn...or did it happen one time by accident?

My pup occasionally relieves herself again, after having already gone at the house. Since I am not disabled, I pick up immediately.....but maybe this person is unable and would love some help?.....just a thought.

When i walk my dog Mr Moe at night, I wear my old golf shoes with the metal spikes. After Mr Moe dumps his load i stomp it flat with my metal spike golf shoes, working it into the sod. next I reach into my pocket and drop a handful of grass seed onto the flattened poop, and again work the mixture into the current lawn! mr Moe is happy, I don't need to carry dog poop bags, and the home owner gets a new spot of grass for free! I make everyone happy and feel like Johnny Appleseed!
Soon i hope neighbors will ask for my services!
the Villages Number1 problem is solved!!!!
I hope this old post is helpful! Do you want me to walk over with my special shoes and help you out??

I have been reading in other threads that there is a rule against signs in the yard.

Maybe some others currently living in TV can confirm one way or the other.

Leave her alone. She's new...let her vent and get solutions/opinions. Read something else if this bothers you.
