I don't have a dog of my own, but I truly enjoy many of my friends dogs. I like dogs a lot and kitties too. We have two of those. I sort have made up my mind that people who don't like furries are not the people I want to know better.

I have played golf for over forty years and I have so many other more reasonable excuses for not hitting well. I will be glad to share.

I think in the scheme of things, that dogs yapping, and people talking, and even those occasional trespassing dogs are far better than so many other troubles in this world.

I am one of those dog owners and I also play golf...When I am close to the dog park playing golf, I am comforted by the barking dogs...I LOVE IT! Maybe you should play a course that doesn't butt up to the dog parks! TV is a community of dog lovers with a few that don't play by the rules...We take our dogs for a walk to the mail station, or in our cart. If this isn't acceptable either, stay home might work!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.....
Sorry, can't help it. The OP's post is the funniest thing I've come across on this site in my 4 plus years here in The Villages.
Guess I need to get out more.

I have lived on golf courses for the past 25 years. Here's what I hate. Loud golfers swearing when they have a bad shot, trespassing on my property when their shot goes awry, breaking my windows, hitting my house throwing their cigarette butts in my yard, candy wrappers, empty chip bags and....need I go on? Yes, I am a golfer and a dog owner. Live and let live.

Unless the dog barked during your 5 foot putt to win the U.S. Open, I wouldn't get my undies in a bunch

Not sure I could use dogs barking in the distance for a poorly hit ball, but I do have an issue when teeing off and the foursome behind you is talking in your back swing. Now if they start barking in my back swing i would not be tolerate either
