Does anyone know why there was no live entertainment at Brownwood tonight, May7th? We ate at Cody's and as we were leaving we went through the square. There was no group and no instruments on the stage. Also, the concession stand was closed. Haven't ever seen that when the weather was good.

It was about 7:00 PM. I know there was entertainment scheduled. Curious whether the band didn't show or had illness or whether there was malfunction in the sound or lighting systems. Not complaining, just wondering what happened.

The Rick Melvern trio is a top act. Something must have happened somewhere. He does an unbelievable Stevie Wonder.

Friends who were there said the PA/sound system went down.

Yes....we walked through at 8pm and everything was closed up tight. Asked some people in the square what was going on and they said the band arrived, started setting up and the sound system was not working, so everything shut down. I hope it gets fixed today!
