Default Dollar Tree coming to 466A in Wildwood

Located at CR 466A and Rio Grande Blvd., which is the entrance to American House Independent Living. It will be about a quarter-mile west of Powell Road.

Happy to hear this. Once we have Aldi, Lowes, the new Walmart and Dollar Tree, we will not have to continually head to 441.

What are the best things to buy at this store? Always wondered what they had of good value and quality.

Love to save, please share.

It’s hit and miss sometimes, but they often have name brand bread come in each week that we pick up. Also party and holiday decorations and supplies aplenty. We also use a lot of their household cleaning products and save a lot.

On some things though, you’re actually paying a few cents more for than you would at say a Walmart since it’s all rounded up to a dollar.

Dollar Tree’s are typically located in low income neighborhoods along with check cashing and pawn shops.

So, my feeling is that this will not be your typical Dollar Tree.

It will only bring in low income, it won’t be any different.

I like Dollar Tree. I buy gift wrap, gift bags, etc. there. Lately, they have brand name tissues....also greeting cards...I never lack for things to buy. I think it will be a great addition.

Dollar Tree Today 10% off Customer Appreciation Day.

Things recently purchased for $1 (I always find something...)

Pens, index cards, clipboard, tape - all cheaper than Staples
Frozen food - Furlani garlic bread, FastBite Chicken Sandwiches, Chsburger, Red Baron singles pizza, creamsicles, fudgsicles, Italian ices
Wine Glasses, Dinner plates, Laundry soap, Dawn, lots of household cleaning products, plastic cooking thingies
Electronic USB cables, replacement earbuds, current batteres, extension cords
Limited Bread - usually within a week of expiration, but I freeze it - eng muffins, whole wheat
Spices FOR $1
Reading glasses.
Sandpaper, simple tools, painting supplies

There's even a few Dollar Store channels on YouTube that review their products. I was very surprised and agreed with a lot of them.
Their website also shows many of their items.

I don't agree that Dollar Tree is usually located in low income areas. That would probably be Dollar General and Family Dollar Store. Dollar Tree is between Tuesday Morning and Kohl's on 441. I buy Dial deodorant, Dial bath soap, Irish Spring soap, Yardley, name brand candy, razors, office supplies, party supplies, Holiday decorations, and a whole lot more. I do buy pretzels there but no other food. It is a great place to buy holiday decorations but you have to shop early. Anytime I go on You Tube to learn how to make a craft, it shows people buying the supplies at Dollar General.

There’s already 2 locations on 441 and countless other Dollar Generals surrounding TV. And they are filled with Villagers and other residents from the surrounding retirement communities.

But you’re right, definitely only appeals to low income folks.
