Kids
Really getting tired of the kids from Wildwood hanging out in Brownwood just a matter of time before trouble I thought this was an adult retirement village not a sitting service

How old are the kids in question and what are they doing to annoy you? If they are lawbreaking, then tell a Deputy.

They range in ages between 10 to 15 it is just like a mall hang out for them there were 4 of them that came running out between cars that I almost hit they were just goofing off but when you get a large no. of kids it will be a problem I saw at least 5 different groups of 3 to 8 kids around Brownwood

The squares are public areas. Anyone can visit them.

The squares are not private and are open to the public. In time, the kids will discover that they don't wanna hang out with a bunch of old folks and will find other places to go. Right now, it's new and a new movie theater for them to go to.
Besides, if they're hanging out in the square, they're not getting into trouble somewhere else. Kids gotta have something to do.... Remember when you were young? |

I think it is time TV pulled out of Brownwood.
Judging from this forum, it is the cause of 99 % of evil in the bubble.

I have a home in the Village of Lake Deaton and have come to love Brownwood over all the other town squares in the Villages. But I was a soldier once.. and young!

Not much else for kids to do around here but go to movies and hang out at the squares. I've learned to drive very slowly and carefully at the squares -- just too many things to hit such as the older gentleman who stepped off the curb right in front of the car and the dog who escaped its collar and, of course, the occasional toddler and child. The older kids are the least of my worries.

Who didn't want to hang out when they were teenagers? They may be kids visiting their Villages grandparents. The three Town Squares are open to the public, and that's not going to change.

As along as the Squares are not a source of cheap booze for them.

As long as the kids are "behaving themselves" and not causing "trouble" they have every right to be there---it's public. Troublemakers (a loose term) kids or adults should be dealt with by the police and I believe they will be. It's spring break so expect more kids at this time in TV. Like most adults---kids are no problem.

The Villages is an adult community (55+) but not a retirement community. While many people are retired here, there are still many people who live here and work. If you want a true "No kids" adult environment, you will have to move to a retirement "home."
