Question Donating Furniture

We have just replaced our bed and end tables in our bedroom. The bed was taken by Babettes when they brought the new bed. However we still have the 2 end tables and will soon be replacing 2 dressers. We have donated clothing to the Red Cross but I don't think they take furniture. Does Habitat for Humanity or someone else take furniture donations?

Thanx for the replies. I donated a tv a few years ago and I believe the Salvation Army picked it up (or maybe Habitat).

Yes, Habitat for Humanity will take furniture along with Love, Inc. You could also check with the new thrift store for the Marion County Hospice that is opening in the Spruce Creek Shopping Center off 441/27.

The thrift store for the Marion County Hospice has opened and they are looking for things of good quality and the funds go to an excellent cause.
