Default Choosing a Village

Hi All,

Well we finally have a contract on our condo and are looking at a home in Tall Trees.
When I did a search on this forum regarding Tall Trees I came up with a discussion regarding
5 burglaries that happened in Tall Trees. ??? Yikes.... That was a concern since we feel security is a factor in choosing a Village. :cop: In any event, we would appreciate hearing your views on this. Thanks Kathleen

mom,

Unaware of any security issues in Tall Trees. We live in Winifred, right across Buena Vista from Tall Trees and we have no qualms about leaving our doors unlocked (except at bed time). I think the villages of Winifred, Tall Trees, Bonnybrook, Ashland, Lynnhaven , are some of the best locations in TV.

The only negative thing I can think of in that area is IF you are too close to the High School on Friday nights when they have the lights on for football games or other activities that might disrupt your peace and quiet.

It seems every so often a village will be targeted -- probably by someone who works in that village and has gotten to know the habits of some. I haven't heard of anything happening in Tall Trees since last year (maybe they caught the culprit). I have a friend who lives there and she's never mentioned anything.
