Default Dr. Steepy (gyn) is too busy who else????

I am so frustrated as I write this. I am having a problem that my family doctor wanted checked out. I finally got an appt. with Dr. Steepy and she cancelled on me twice due to emergencies. They can't get me in until June 9th. I'm afraid I may have cancer!! It seems that all the doctors down here are overbooked. Should I go outside The Villages? Does anyone know of a good gynecologist?

I don't know if this will help but I go to dr. Nwaubani on old camp road.she is a urogynecologist/pelvic surgeon. She is going to fix my prolapse bladder. Phone number 633-0703. I really like her. She takes her time and talks to you in terms that you can understand.

I go Dr Alejandro. The office is on the corner of 466 and Rolling Acre. When we first moved here I had something that needed to be looked at right away and her office fit me in within a day or two.
The main office is in Leesburg. Here us the phone number.

Same problem with Dr Steepy. Had appointment for 9/25/13 called morning of 9/25/13 to tell me they would be going under the USF healthcare here in TV on 10/1/13 and would be cancelling my insurance on 10/1, so didn't want to see me and I needed to find someone else. Finally called Women's Health Associates, Dr. Poorti Riley, 4600 SW 46th Court, Ocala 352-369-5999. Been wonderful. Had surgery this week and she also visited me in the hospital along with her PA.......they didn't use these so called hospitalists who don't even know you.

Good luck

I had an issue that needed taken care of Dr. Steepys' off did not take my new ins. TriCare so someone I knew that had surgery done suggested I try Dr. Rose Sobel in Crystal River. Yep it's about 45 min to an hour but a nice drive. D. Sobel was awesome and I can't say enough about how wonderful Seven Rivers Hospital was. I was very scared having never had any surgery before (I've never had children) so the whole hospital experience was new to me. They were so understanding and made me feel so at ease. Everything went well. Good Luck to you!

Could you not see Rosemary Kipp who works with Doctor Steepy's office and have doctor Steepy 2nd opinion with her findings? just a thought. I have had to see Rosemary a couple times when Dr. Steepy was not available.
