And even if you did, you would be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as opposed to bleary-eyed and stinky. But, back to the question at hand. Um, what was the question? Oh I remember. Yes I do believe my posts are slightly different after a few beers. Not to mention it took me 3 hours to type this.

Love your post and sense of humor! Where is the like button....oh I'm not on FB. Must be due to the glass of wine I'm drinking...

Face it, some think they become a comedian and the life of the party after a few and don't have a clue what is really happening. Doesn't matter whether it's posting or in person. Joking about it feeds a need to feel accepted by others that do the same.

Nothing anyone says on here is going to change anything so no need to go any further.....

EZR, It sounds like you are frustrated that you can't change people and feel powerless. It annoys you that people act foolish and joke about it. If you could say what you really think about the need to feel accepted, you would risk rejection. aw, heck I probably don't have a clue what is really happening.

I used to think things were funny when I drank. I still think things are funny when I don't drink. I see no harm in drinking if you don't drive and hurt yourself and others.

I like funny. I like making fun of myself, ourselves and gently of others.

Sometimes I laugh so hard on this forum that I almost......... well. I laugh really hard.

Laughing is so much better than crying.

Here's to each and everyone of you.

Sweetie makes really good coffee, but he enjoys his CC Manhattan in the evening. I used to drink Dewars. I still can't imagine I would like some of those flavored Martinis.

But I may have to go into rehab becaue of my addiction to Publix Rum Raisin ice cream.

I always drink on airplanes. I don't care WHAT time it is!! Funny, I'm not at all afraid of flying, but a bloody mary in the morning or a coffee and kahlua, if it's really early, just makes for a smoother, more enjoyable flight. :)
