As far as what's permissible for gatherings, Just say your protesting! Then -NO PROBLEM!
Also, as long as everyone is wearing a mask and not on top of each other, I don't see the harm. You get a lot closer at the doctors office, or in the supermarket etc. I think that was so wonderful of him to do that for his neighbors

Default Apologies

My wife told me to let it slide but guess what. I am sorry I did not specify that it was the Steve Riley version of the LA Guns. Mr. Riley is co owner of the name LA Guns. Traci Ulrich aka Traci Guns has been in and out of the band numerous times over the last 30 or so years. I never said Kurt was Traci Guns. The party was spread out over 4 driveways with attendance of 25 to 30 people observing social distancing.
I last saw The Hooligans on March 12th which was the last time they/he played live. I saw this as a way for him to make a living for his family and for my family and my neighbors to enjoy some great entertainment. It has been 11 days and no one is sick. So I am sorry I wasn't specific, I am sorry I tried to help out a fine gentleman, and I am sorry I posted.

I thought poster was asking if band played regularly at a site or bar (home) or at outside venue such as squares (street people). Didn’t find it snarky, just asking where band performed.

I hope this doesn't encourage wanna be " Karaoke " followers . Poor us.

Rocky please, please you don't need the practice stay calm, you and your group will be back at the squares before you know it.

Enjoy this moment while you can. That goes for all entertainers.

Our neighborhoods are nice and quiet and peaceful..... Think " Pavilion's " ... thumbs up.

I would estimate there were probably 25 people in carts and in lawn chairs with proper distancing. Really a treat!!
Yes, isn't it GREAT ! They are happening all over, great to have something in our lives. Out doors, properly distanced from others, people getting some happiness in these times, and musicians getting to play music. But..... have to you noticed the jealous, the obsessively fearful (NOT referring to the infirm, to those in cancer treatment, etc.), just to those unable to leave their homes or open their doors due to fear. Some post things like "we don't have THOSE kinds of things, OUR VILLAGE is in the middle of a pandemic" ! That's news ? Others post, are THOSE allowed ? Can you guess who will call the police as soon as they spot any normalcy, happiness, or people just enjoying themselves ? Never mind everyone has a perfect right to stay in their own home, keep the doors and windows locked, and not let anyone else in, we all have that right, but we also have a right to responsibly listen to some music from time to time. Would be a good time to spread a little kindness, tolerance, and understanding that no one is forcing anyone to enjoy their neighbors, some conversation, and some music. Wish my location had MORE than one or two a month !

I've experienced only one so far. I didn't know it was going on until I tried driving past it on the way home from work. There were some people standing in the middle of our street watching the woman sing, and they seemed oblivious that someone was trying to drive past and didn't get out of my way.

I had to beep my horn, and EVERYONE turned to look at me. I was like doods. I just worked a 6-hour shift moving carts in the hot sun for near-minimum wage. Just get the heck out of the way and let me go HOME and change out of these sweaty disgusting clothes for crying out loud.

What was worse, was it was yet ANOTHER off-key rendition of God Bless the USA on a karaoke machine. Maybe that's some kind of new anthem for various persons, but it's way too smarmy for me to have to hear right after battling swarms of disgruntled, non-mask-wearing, coughing, snot-nosed kids and adults whining about a lack of hand sanitizer on the shelves (this was during the start of the pandemic).

I'm a critic, yes. I know I'm overly critical. I'm also a musician so I can't really help it, it's carved into my DNA. But I really don't want to hear off-key singing at full volume being blasted toward my house and over two dozen people lined up and blocking traffic to listen to it.

If it were the Hooligans I'd probably pay for the privilege. But if you're going to do an "outdoor concert" with microphones and speakers, you really need to check with your neighbors before booking the entertainment.

That must have been the same group 4 houses down from me at 10 O'clock IN THE MORNING (for the second time). Fortunately didn't have to drive through them. They must give a lower price for an early morning concert. Kinda like the cheap seats with obstructed view. All their songs were off key. At least they were having fund and drowned out the pickle ball.

Thank you for your service!

I get your drift. Most ( 99% ) of karaoke performers are better off staying indoors with a headset.

Without the headset I suggest the shower, once out of the shower back to the headset.

PS: Just a suggestion record yourself, and honestly you will likely get rid of the Karaoke machine, and find another pastime. Checkers ?

Meh, don't let them get you down. You did nothing wrong but live life instead of just exist. Some people would complain about the weight if you handed them a gold bar.

We don't have driveway party's in my village. There is a world wide pandemic. The people who are most at risk are older people and it is rare for ANYONE over the age of 60 NOT to be on some medication, and that is what is meant by extenuating circumstances not just people on chemo. No one is scared out of their tree. No one is paranoid. We do know that one out of ten of people die of Covid-19 if they are over 75 and catch it.

The police won't ever be called by most of us but most of us are taking this very seriously. Polls show that 80% of the American Public, no matter how you vote or what age you are, are listening to Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx and they do not think this pandemic will be over soon.

I was the one who said this before and I will say it again. We aren't having driveway parties in our village of Bridgeport at Laurel Valley because there IS a worldwide pandemic going on and 45 people have died from Covid-19 in small little Sumter County since March.
