Default Problems with brighthouse.

Has anyone had problems getting the HD channels with Brighthouse? In the last few days when I try to access a HD channel it will post a sign that it it's not available at this time.

I haven't had any trouble with my HD channels. Once in a great while, The Weather Channel will post that "unavailable at this time" note, but not lately.

this is the season (early summer) for sunspots - in fact last week there was a large solar flare -- all of this sun's activity raises havoc with satellite communications. - every seven years this activity peaks -- we are now in season of sunspots and will continue for a month or so -- not the company's fault but rather the communication satellites they receive their programming from.

Ok so I spent some time on the phone with a brighthouse tec, problem not solved. Brought old box and remote to brighthouse office in wildwood and picked up a new box and remote. Hooked up new box and tv is working perfectly. Girl in brighthouse office told me the electronics in the boxes can be thrown out of kilter from elect serge or lightning. I don't know, but the picture on my tv looks a lot better and when I change channels , it's very fast. All is good in TVs land.
