Default Walking in the middle of the night in TV???

Last night we took our grandson to the emergency room at The Villages Hospital for treatment for an asthma attack. On our way home down Morse Blvd. at a quarter after three in the morning, we saw a woman walking north and one walking south along the side of Morse. They both were wearing some kind of flashing lights on their chests and on their backs.

I was surprised to see anyone out at that hour walking alone.

Possibly they were ladies of the evening, just trying to be noticed!

Rescuing one cat may not change the world, BUT for that one cat, the whole world will change.

Nothing odd for someone who is into excises. In our town we have a guy who I would say is in his 20's or early 30's who rides a bicycle year around. I have see this guy riding with temps in the single digit. During many a late night hospital or nursing home trip I have seen him riding the streets and it is 2, 3 or 4 in the morning. This has been going on for years.

When I was at TV in December I had to make a trip to Tampa and left at about 5 am. I saw about a dozen people (not in one group) out walking at that time of day. One guy was wearing a bright yellow vest with a flashing red light on his back. He also had his dog with him and was heading down BV.

Default Electricity????

I have, for over 40 years worked only 3-11 and 11-7 shifts. People who don't ever work those shifts seemed very suprised that there are people who don't go to bed at 9 and get up at 6-7.
Now that I am retired, I usually hit the hay around 3-4 am and get up around noon. I have electricity, which in my great-grandfathers time was not really that available. It no longer dictates that you must get up at sunlight, go to work and then sleep when the sun went down. Most folks still can't get past that time frame.
I got a story about a clerk in a bank but that was another time.......... the bank is gone and so is she hopefully.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Be a gentleman, remove your hat/cap when entering a building and dining out!
