Thumbs down Ducks swimming and pooping Winifred Pool!

This morning when we arrived at the Winifred pool there were two ducks swimming in the pool there was duck feces on the edge of the pool and several spots on the bottom of the pool with duck poop! Plus duck feathers floating on the top of the water. So Gross....plus they can carry e coli etc. Who do we call? ....who wants to swim in a pool with all those germs. Thank you!

I have often seen ducks in the Liberty Park pool as well...I'm sure they like having their own personal little ponds....me, I'm not so sure I want to be sharing with them.

Anyone check their I.D.s

Call Rec. or go to closest Rec. Center and tell them.

You could call Community Watch from the pool area. Number is on the phones at all pools....better than someone getting sick.

Looks like it is dangerous for the ducks too.

Your post sounds like you feel no one gives a damn. It's hard to fix something that no one is aware of. No one wants to swim in a pool in that condition. You are aware of Community Watch right?

That's why I am glad I have a screen over my pool!

Wow....not at all trying to convey that. However when we arrived first thing to the pool this morning the lady that opened the gate saw the ducks in the pool. She did nothing because they flew out within 5 minutes while she was still there. She made no effort to look in the pool or check or see the feces right there at the edge. The poop may be harder to see in the pool but there were several spots and at least 3 floating feathers. We are new here and the lady left we have no idea if it's part of her job. That is why I posted here did not know how common this was if the chlorine or chemicals covered for that etc etc. We went to the phone and it looked more like a 911 phone. Plus it's Sunday are the office I would assume would be close. That is why I asked here so I could report it.

In the past two weeks we have never seen anyone in the pool more than an hour which is how long we stay in. Feces carries way more germs than urine. I have seen each time Many people use the restrooms I am happy to say!

That's what I always think about. When I managed an RV resort, a group of folks would spend 3 to 4 hours in the pool....never getting out. Ewwww......pee water for sure.
