Unhappy Dying Oak Tree

We need some help! We had an oak tree trimmed in mid November by a local tree service. In the past few days, many leaves have fallen and the tree definitely looks diseased. You can see some kind of fungus on the limbs. Does anyone have any experience with the procedure we have to follow to have the tree removed?

Some oaks are losing leaves naturally at this time. Check to see if there there is new growth. If not, call an expert. Check with Villages information for names. Don't deal with anyone not licensed and qualified. Some of the trimmers would gladly say it's dead in order to get the removal job.
