Default Christmas Decorations Sell Out Early

In an earlier post someone mentioned that Lowes and HD have already set up Christmas holiday decorations for sale. Just a word to any newcomers to TV, if you need holiday decorations buy them now when you see them. From personal experience, there will be very little stock available in the area between Thanksgiving and Christmas. In fact, Lowes and HD will begin taking the remainder of their holiday stuff down by mid-December. This phenomenon is unique to TV.

What?! Unbelievable! Funny enough Tony and I are going into London tomorrow to get a few Christmas items to bring with us to TV. The shops here are filling the shelves as we speak and I must admit although early I am getting into the spirit! This will be our first Christmas in Florida and we are so excited, Happy Christmas everyone

Many folks in TV have both the money and the time to go all out decorating for Christmas. There are whole streets where they have agreed on the same decorations. It's somewhat impossible sometimes to get 75 neighbors to agree on anything but you'll see it here. You will also see retired professional engineers who regularly set up world class displays of coordinated lights and music as you drive through their neighborhood. It's a nice time to be in TV. Glad to see you have the holiday spirit.

Not really unique. Lowe's here in SOMD and Lowe's in Northern DE have been doing the same thing for years. Being Catholic, I do not rush the season and when I find I need an extra cable in green or some extra timers, I go to local Lowe's in MD and all Christmas stuff gone. Ask salesman and they say that is the word from corporate. Used to wait till after Christmas for bargains, now all gone.
