Default With cold January mornings and evenings on the way.

Has anyone tried those small propane heaters that fit in the cup holders of their golf cart?

Drop drown the sides and just wear heavier jacket, and a light weight blanket is an added bonus. Whatever you are playing golf in should work well for warmth. Now that TV has so many places to visit, length of drive in cold weather at night is the same as going to Disney in 44 degrees. Dress in layers, and adjust. Personally not a fan of propane inside enclosure, but that’s just us. I am sure some have used them, and are happy.

My aunt had one, used it once, and gave it away. Her reasoning she just worried too much about such a small enclosure, with propane on board

Had one for a few years but hardly used it. There are just not enough COLD mornings to worry about it after all this is Florida. I sold mine in a garage sale for a fraction of what I paid for it.
If you really want one, wait for a garage sale.

If it was that cold, I would use my car.
The minimal amount of heat generated from one of those things would leak out of the golf cart anyway.

We have one. In the last 4 years, we probably used it 3 times.
Agree with a post above, add a light jacket, blanket, etc.

I find that when it’s that cold flipping up the windshield does the trick.

I have one. Used it maybe 3 times in the past year. They will roast you up good. Keep it off when golfing or otherwise unattended. They can literally melt your windshield if not the rest of the cart! You know what they say. Go modern, go gas, go Boom!

I saw a sunbrella enclosure catch on fire and burn with some damage. It was on a golf course here on a cold windy day. The side panel blew into the cart when the driver got out and walked to his ball.

I got one for my husband. It was ok, but top heavy. We couldn’t figure out how to fix that.

Not needed, if it's that cold I'll stay home.

I have one and it works great. There is enough gaps in the cart that I don't worry about fumes. Besides I like the smell of paint thinner.

FWIW - I use it mainly for trips to the golf course in the morning and will usually run it for the first few holes and then I don't need it. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it....

Part of my cart winterizing...

Still have one from 10 years ago in KC. Used it all winter long up there; never have used it here.
