I see that workers have killed all the grass alongside El Camino (between the Santo Domingo gate and Freedom Pointe). Also, they've flagged the sprinkler heads and erected silt fences around drains. What the heck is going on?

Turf Replacement - UPDATED 5/19/2016

The turf located between the multi-modal path and the roadway along El Camino Real in the area between the Santo Domingo Gate and Buenos Aires Boulevard is in the process of being replanted. The existing turf is being removed and we anticipate the seeding to begin on May 24th, weather permitting. The grass looked fine to me before they killed it. Oh well, what do I know?
I was hoping they were going to pave it so Sumter County could get a running start on the endless NOISY speeders on El Camino.
