You may have seen the great article in the Lifestyles section of last Sunday's Daily Sun about "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown", presented by The Villages Musical Company. Starring 6 Villages actors, including John Rogerson as Charlie Brown, the show is a very, very funny, upbeat musical following "a typical day in the life of Charlie Brown". The cast is accompanied by a live Pit Band of 7 musicians. The show was originally presented off-Broadway, and had a Broadway run which won 2 TONY awards as well as other awards.

A portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit Seeds of Hope in Wildwood. So far this year, the Villages Musical Company has donated over $25,000 to local charities, as well as providing scholarships to graduating seniors at the Villages Charter School who are pursuing degrees in music performance.

It's also a bargain at only $16 per ticket, one of the lowest ticket prices you will find for a Savannah Center show. Tickets available at the Villages Box Offices and online, and will be available at the door. I hope you will consider coming to this show. I promise you will leave the theater with your toes tapping and with a big smile on your face.
