At around 3:15 pm DST I received an email from info@talkofthevillages.com. The subject was "Shop your way at Publix," and it was an advertisement for Publix..


Has anyone else received an advertisement via email from TOTV? This is very disturbing to me.

Yes i got it, not a member of Publix as far as I know. I went to the site and hit unsubscribe, hope that was not a mistake.....

I got mine yesterday! It doesn't bother me. I have signed up for Club Publix so I get one or two emails from Publix every week. They have their weekly ad with the specials. I think I save money with the emails.

Use my junk email that I never check (don't even remember what it is) to sign up for sites, then use ad blocker.
No ads whatsoever on or from this site.

didn't recieve, but it's not supposed to the the job of board admins (anywhere) to promote such things...then again this is not a normal forum board..... but that's a different subject
