Default Garage door opener

Anyone have any suggestions on where I can buy and have installed 2 garage door openers. I will be coming down soon and want to have openers installed. I will only have a week so I think it would be better to buy down in Florida.

No they were an extra cost and I elected to install them at a later date to save on the initial cost of the house.

You could probably arrange something with the company TV's uses, here's a link: Ro-Mac Lumber & Supply - Home Improvement, Doors, Windows, Tools, Gargage Doors

we used ro-mac to install an opener and key pad, while we were in ohio. they did a great job and billed me, these local companies are professionals and are familar with long distance homeowners. trust the local businesses.

Default Garage Door Openers

Our experience with Ro-Mac garage door openers has been less than ideal. Between us and the neighbors, the Ro-Mac folks have been in our newish neighborhood many times for faulty "clickers", lost codes, new circuit boards, etc. My husband can't wait until the openers fail completely so he can go to Home Depot and buy some Chamberlain openers-then we'll get a touch pad for outside. We don't want to get a Ro-Mac specific one. Contact Home Depot and see what they'll do for you.

Call Ryan O'Cull - (352) 351-1752 - We had no openers (we bought a model). He installed two openers for one-half of the cost quoted by the outfit that the Villages uses. And he was immediately available when we had a subsequent problem (that I caused, not his installation).

Liftmaster is the #1 selling opener and with proper installation can last a very long time, and cost around the same as one of the contractors grade openers*** more for your money+ less headache = happy home owner****
Can your company help me with having my door openers installed?

We moved into a new home July 2011 and about 3 months later we had Ro-Mac make a service call. So did everybody on our block within a month or so. They had put bad batteries in all the remotes and they all died about the same time. Once they knew the problem, it became an easy fix and we've not had anymore trouble since.

I would stay away from Sears. My experience was that they have a plastic gear that wears out in a year or 2. I had a service call once and the tech. told me he had a bunch of them in his truck as it is very common for them to strip out. Right now I have what the builder installed, Ro Max and no problems after 2 years.
