Default Enclosing the furnace- Seabreeze

I have a seabreeze cottage home. I would like to know of residents who have enclosed their furnace. Currently I just have a curtain around mind but I would like to box it in and add a door to gain access and provide more of a finished look. Appreciate any ideas and or examples of what’s been done.
Thanks

I would make a call to the county building department and confirm that your plans are acceptable, there may be concerns or regulations you are not aware of, also different counties may have different requirements.
Good luck with your project.

Our Seabreeze hvac is in the garage the entire unit enclosed behind duel doors and had sides, similar to a closet finished nicely.
It was build in 2012, is yours new and design has changed? Current Seabreeze on website still has the same set up we did

I see the hvac in the garage in the website. Mine is in that empty area next to the washer and dryer shown in the website. My washer and drtyer are stacked and a set of upper and lower cupboards also. Do you have a golf cart garage ?

Here in Florida, we call this an HVAC system. No, you do not want to enclose the unit. Enclosing the unit would reduce air flow.

You can enclose it with sliding louvered doors and that gives it all the air it needs. We had ours done and it looks like it should have when the home was built.

You do realize there are Thousands of homes that their HVAC originally built, is enclosed behind doors in their garage. 4 of our homes were enclosed and have zero problems after 15 years

Must have had a change after your model built. Now the HVAC is behind doors in the garage and utilities sink is in the laundry with W/D, and above cabinets. It was one of the reasons we bought that model other cottage homes had same as your house Open HVAC in laundry. We passed n those models

I was going to suggest looking a the Villages homes for sale pictures. Unfortunately, I just looked at the (filtered search) Seabreeze and Seabreeze-Z (4 homes) homes and they appear newer with the HVAC in the garage.

Default louvered door(s) for air flow.
