How totally awesome! There we were, checking the mail and going to the grocery store, minding our own business...as usual...when what do we see but the big Budweiser trucks in the Allamanda parking lot. In we pull to see what's going on and whoever was the lucky sot that won beer for a year or whatever the prize was at Brownwood was getting it delivered today. There were very few of us, maybe a few hundred, not like the thousands I avoided at Brownwood. Those horses are so beautiful. And the dog! What a show! Thanks Budweiser for making it happen. And thanks to the powers that be for putting me in the right place at the right time!

I saw them going down St. Charles Pl. on their way to Allamanda. What a pleasant surprise.
