Four of us are coming down for 5 days to check out TV, going to check a few pools and wanted to see the two best adult pools should we look at? We are all over 60 years old. And am I reading this right no food or drink at the pool? Would like to have a few cocktails.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works. Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so. Victor, NY - Randallstown, MD - Yakima, WA - Stevensville, MD - Village of Hillsborough |

Food and drink are ok as others started.
Some newer pools are "resort" style (kidney shaped) beach entry. The pool at Fenny is family but food and drink are available poolside. The pools use a salt water process that eliminates the need for high concentrations of chlorine for sanitation. Bring pool noodles ;-) |

The actual pool and layouts are almost all the same. Food and drinks are allowed in the sitting areas but some of the "pool police" frown up alcohol being consumed in the original container or in party cups. A Yeti is fine though and cans of beer or vodka coolers in a koozy is acceptable to most.

The pool closest to where you’re staying is the best choice. You won’t be allowed in Sports pools at regional rec centers, and most pools at the smaller rec centers are family pools so might have children playing in them. The adult pools located next to each village’s postal station are the pools for ages 30 and up, and are the ones usually used by residents or visitors of that particular village. You can use any non-sport’s pool of course, but why travel far from where you’re staying, especially if you’ll be drinking.

All the adult pools are about the same. Rules are posted on the wall at each pool. No one under 30 allowed in the adult pools. You don't say where you are visiting ( the village you are in). There is quite a distance here between the southern end and the northern end. Maybe narrow it down for us? BTW, you will need much more than 5 days to check out the villages.

No glass. No glass. No glass. Don't bring your drink into the pool. Enjoy!

IMO only hidden fee or fee not out front are end of year maintenance fees which add to you yearly taxes. Naturally this depends on county and how pricey house was that you brought. IMO Marion county has slightly higher taxes than other two?
