Default Salty, Soapy Water

When running water out of any faucet, it is white soaping looking and tastes salty. Is anyone else having this problem?

No.

Have you just returned from your home after a long absence? The salt is puzzling. Do you have a water softener?

I'm questioning a water softener as well. If that's the case, that can happen if you use your household water while the water softener is cycling, be it running the washing machine, flushing the toilet, etc. A water softener is often programmed to run in the middle of the night.

It was the water softner, apparently it was low on the pellets, and that produced the salty taste. Don't know where the soapy foam came from. But all is good, my man Ed fixed it.
