Default Excess towels and bedding

We used old towels and bedding material to cushion items we packed in our POD when we recently moved to TV. Does anyone know of a place that accepts this type of material for donation? Material is clean and some are worn but useable. I vaguely remember someone mentioning a dog shelter. Any names and telephone numbers will be appreciated.

Batman please pm Debfrommaine. She collects donation for the Sanctuary (animal rescue) and they are always in need of bedding for their animals. She works during the day so you may not hear from her till this evening but she will respond.

I donate all my old used towels and quilts to my vet, Park Heights Animal Hospital. They are always looking for these things to put in the animal cages so the animals are more comfortable. I'm sure any vet feels the same way.
