In the afternoon I could walk on at my closest two courses just about any day, even when the snowbirds were here.

We haven't been here long, but some of these complainer threads just don't jibe with our experience. It makes me wonder if they're started by people who just like stirring the pot. Maybe they need a hobby. How about Golf!
I do believe that "stirring the pot" IS their hobby!

Golf courses are expenses. Building more and more houses is revenue. This is how it has been for 10 years and how it apparently is going to continue to be.

And to your other insult... No... I'm a year round bird, coming and going as I see fit...

I'll be back down this Saturday, and again for 2 weeks in August...

Any other insults, er... I mean questions?
One more thing before you go on my ignore list. Get some help. You have some serious issues.

@jmaintzer - I’m like you, not a snowbird, not a full timer. I was told we are called snow flakes????

Without getting political, I was under the impression that "Snowflakes" had an entirely different meaning...

No hobby of stirring anything. Just last night close to midnight, I only saw 12:53 as an earliest available for 2 some except Marsh View. People do not cancel their unused tee time. The actual courses, when I get there, are not that busy. And I would not dare to bring my boss to the course without a reserved tee time.

Have you talked to anyone who is in charge of the tee time system?

If the no-show penalty has indeed been dropped, I see that as a problem. Personally, I would like to see a higher no-show penalty. That might also help stop the practice of using a friend's number to hold a spot that eventually does not get used.

If you are on a reservation and show up you will get one point.
If you are on a reservation and cancel prior to the day of play you will get two points.
If you are on a reservation and cancel or no-show the day of play you will get three points.

If you obtain your reservation via a request, you may get less than 1 point if the requested time varies from the assigned time by certain amounts.
