How do renters gain access to amenities?

The landlord or agency should supply you with the ID cards which give you all resident privileges such as golf, etc. They will most likely charge a $50 fee, which is what the Villages charge for transfer of cards from owners to renters (a very official process). Sometimes the ID card fee is included in the rental fee. If you are not a golfer, seriously consider not buying the card privileges and instead obtain a free guest pass, which entitles you to almost all of the amenities except dining at Katie Belles. (Is there anyone who ever paid $50 extra so they could dine at KB?)
