Is there a limit on the number of ID cards per household?
I realize that one cannot have a dozen but I will have my mother in law living with myself and my wife. Is she entitled to all the amenities since she is under our roof? |

Hi Mark 1130,
Your MIL can get a resident pass if her name is on the deed. |

She does not have to be on the deed. She does have to show that she is an occupant of the house. They will take 2 or 3 forms.
They accept a change of mailing address form the post office, drivers license with your address, voters card, bank statement or a cell phone bill all with your address. She will then get a "blue" resident card with her photo which will have to be renewed every 3 years, and have access to all amenities, the only exception might be the sports pool. Customer Service Center at (352) 753-4508 for more information.

OBXGAL is right.
I had my mother & MIL both living with my wife & I for a time. They both had ID cards without restriction.

I think she can use the sports pools as long as she is over 30 - and being your mother-in-law, I think we can make that assumption!
It's my understanding she can do everything as she would be a Villages resident. So can renters if they have the resident guest card as opposed to a visitors' guest card. That is $50 for 2 people for the length of their stay, whether it be 2 weeks or 8 mos. |

Our situation is not quite the same. My wife's sister is going to be living with us, but she will be on the deed. Our understanding from our sales rep is that she will have a regular ID and full privilages. We look to start building in Tamarind Grove in Oct.
