Where do you find this … c**p?? Do you actually buy into this? I’m worried for you. Or are you just trying to stir the pot? Either way, you’re reading the wrong things. You need to practice some critical thinking.

1) Putin - Has he given a public statement as to why and what he hopes to accomplish by sending in the military, bombing, destroying and killing so many thousand of Ukrainians? I realize that Ukrain was once part of the USSR before it broke up. Is this an ego trip for Putin to seek revenge....a power play? What does he accomplish with his military actions?

2) What is NATO and, especially, America doing about Putin's invasion. I understand that we and some NATO nations have imposed "sanctions" on Russia and I am told those sanctions have frozen Russia financial assets around the globe. So, is that a big deal? Sounds to me like a slap on the wrist: "Vladamir, you're a bad, bad boy. Go sit in the corner and think about what you did'? I hope, and more especially I pray , that this situation doesn't end up with WWIII. But how can we and other NATO nations stop this massacre without sending in our troops and have American life's lost? Or should we just stay the hell out of the situation?

3) If we or any other NATO nation sends in troops and goes head to head with Russia, will China join in with Russian forces against us.....how about North Korea or ISIS forces.

You have a good understanding of the invasion. Your third and last point is important and I would add: We do have to be careful to what extent the US should get involved in pushing back on the Russian invasion. I do think if we went in to fight them, possibly China could get involved. Then what about Iran, would they step in to help Russia? It’s not a stretch to say this could evolve into an international war.

So Biden is right to be cautious. Would Russia retaliate with cyberspace crimes? That’s possible. There was some concern that Russia was meddling in our elections. So that tells me they could do something worse than that if we directly opposed them.

And I’m with you on Praying for the Ukrainian people. They have to suddenly flee their own country, imagine how terrible that is. So sad for the children, especially.

With all of the trouble in Ukraine, I decided to re-read one of my favorite books "The Guns of August" written by Barbara Tuchman. She describes what was happening in Europe before World War One broke out in August 1914.

She mentions a book "The Grand Illusion" published in 1910 that put forth the idea that there would never be a terrible world war because the economies of the European countries were so intertwined that every country would suffer too much.

That is kind of how we feel now about a nuclear war. To most of us, a war with nuclear weapons in unthinkable because everyone would lose so much. However, knowing what stupid things we humans can do, I don't know what to expect. I guess we all have the same fears.

Zelensky almost certainly has a Swiss account - he will be fine.
You should consider yourself lucky you live in a free democracy.
