Thanks for sharing this! I plan on doing some landscaping with flowers that attract birds. Up north I've tried for years to attract hummingbirds with red flowers of many various types with little luck. I've seen two in the back yard in fifteen years. I hope to have better luck attracting them in Florida. I have three sets of cone flowers and the gold finches and butterflies love them.

...glad you both have found the site that Jessica has put together to be useful. I sure refer to her site quite often. I find it truly amazing that she has captured and shared such a wide variety of photos and information. Another PLUS......almost EVERY photo can be enlarged..... ....................................by simply clicking on the photo. |

The Village Birders is a start for info on birders in the villages. I don,t know if they are still active. years ago their founder taught birding id classes at the lifetime learning college
