Default Family Doctor

Hi Everyone,
I closed last year at this time in the village of Hemingway. We are now back for the Winter and are looking for a good family doctor. I am asking for any recommendations that any body has with the local doctors in TV. If you have good experiences with any TV doctors, I would like to hear about them.
How have people found doctors that they like?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I finally found a great Dr. after trying 4 others. I have been going to him for about 5 or 6 years. It's Dr. John Burress. He is on 466 in front of Recreation Plantation. It's called Lady Lake Family Medicine. He also has a wonderful PA, Sylvia. I go to her alot.

My husband and I have been going to The Family Doctors of Belleview. We go to Dr. Christopher Pead. The practice has two offices one off 441 in Belleview with a satellite office behind Lowe's off 441. Dr Pead is located full time at the Lowe's location. Dr. Horner (female) is also in that facility full time. We have been very happy with the care and the staff. We have been going to them for 5 years. The phone number is 391-1052.

As the first person answered here....I called Dr.Burris's office and got in (a year ago) with Sylvia Wallace (a nurse practioner) who I like very well. IF you need to be...she will refer you out to whatever else can't be done in her office (ie diabetic education, P.T. and more). Word of mouth (I've been told) is how one finds their doctor's and dentists here!!! Welcome to The Villages!
