Default Fence Replacement Along Buena Vista

They've been working on a fence replacement along BV between Canal and Stillwater (at least) for a while. They're replacing it with a very similar fence. The original was black. So far the new one is natural wood, possibly still to be painted or treated somehow.

I'm just curious if anybody is familiar with the project. The old fence looked to be in very good condition from what I could tell. I'm not trying to raise an issue here. Just curious if anybody knows a reason that may not be so obvious.

Stay healthy and have some fun...somehow!!

The fence replacement has been scheduled for several years now, they have a limited lifespan and once the deterioration starts it progress quickly. This is one of the many items that is covered in the Project Wide Fund. If you take a look at the scheduled projects you will see that nearly all the fences are on the schedule for the next few years for replacement. It is this kind of ongoing maintenance that keeps The Villages looking like it does.
