Default Fingers Crossed

The day has finally arrived! Our house is on the market today...We are excited, nervous, and another step closer to becoming frogs! We priced the house right, buried St. Joseph, bought some cookie dough and now we wait. Thanks for all of your postings on TOTV...with so much great information I hope we are ahead of the game! Que sera sera!

Cookie dough? Haven't heard of that one. I know about the burial of the statuette of St. Joseph. But what does one do with the cookie dough as a part of a pre-sale ritual? Anyone?

The cookie dough is baked filling the house with the scent of chocolate chip cookies....a welcome thing when opening the door to the potential buyer.

Bake some chocolate chip cookies and leave them out for an open house visitors. Makes the house smell wonderful..........and hopefully hits a positive chord with potential buyers!

And after the showing, the cookies make a good snack later.

We closed on our house last week. Will be in The Villages next month. It took us 10 months to sell, but we sold. One thing I learned was patience. I kept dreaming about The Villages, during this time I made several wonderful friends on this forum, who gave me hope, support and kindness.

You will sell your house and you will get to The Villages to play with the big kids.
Sending you positive thoughts too.

Thanks to all of you for sending good wishes and good vibes! No takers yet...(I know it's only been a couple of days). Gotta stop eating the chocolate chip cookies though! Hubby and I will be down next week to spend our first night in our new home! We are sooooo excited!
