Smile Fireworks and air boat rides

Have kids and grandchildren in town and went to leesburg fireworks on the 4th. Was pleasently surprised as they were very good and some different displays. Wind was blowing at us so got some black particles but nothing that you couldn't brush off. Good traffic control after with thousands of people leaving at the same time we were back home in the villages 1 hr after which isn't bad. Went to wilkd bills airboat ride and had a good time. Just mention $10 off coupon on website, don't have to print it. Comes to $35 for adults and $25 for children 10 and under. Excitiung ride and you get a little wet. Saw some small alligators and some birds. They have small alligators kids can hold and take a picture for $3 Have large caged alligator 13 foot to view.

Agree on the Wild Bills. Took granddaughter for a ride, Captain was good, also saw gators, birds, etc.

Anyone have other suggestions for grandkids to see and do in and around the area?

Thanks

I used the search feature on this forum and this thread came up with several good suggestions:

We too saw the really good fireworks display at Leesburg. We also have been attending the wooden bat league ball game in Leesburg. Which is what we did on the fourth. The ball game followed by fireworks. Really fun talking and meeting younger folks too.

It pays to get out of the bubble sometimes.
