Today, while down at LSL in front of the sales office a smaller sedan type car was slowly making her way along the parking spots (that were ALL full). Finally she pulls in at a diagonal way in a spot behind 2 golf carts already parked legally, blocking them. I had to go down the way to park myself in an emply spot. When I came walking back I saw the car empty....so apparently she wanted to get out and go in somewhere. Wonder what ultimately happened with the situation. Hopefully the golf-cart owners weren't anywhere around and she left before they needed to. I'm posting this especially since the POA came out today and there were all sorts of questions/answers on how to live and travel here in T.V.

Sounds like a member of the "privileged/entitled" group.

i love the ones that race down the wrong direction to get to spot when you have your blinker light on. Reminds me of the Stienfeld show where George too slow backing in and the bookie slips in half way trying to pull straight in.

The best I didn't see but heard from a close friend was about a car backing out of a parking space by Walgreen's and plowed right into the side of a car that was leaving the parking lot. The woman (passenger) in the car that was backing out jumped out of the car and started SCREAMING at the driver of the other who, according to her, had no business driving through the parking lot just as her husband was backing out!
The other driver looked at this nutcase, said nothing, and calmly took out his mobile phone and called 911. The woman was still screaming when the deputy got there within a couple of minutes. He listened to all this lunacy, then turned to the two men (including my friend) who stood by watching; after all, it was a remarkable show.... "Did you witness this accident?" "Yes," both replied. By this point the deputy had a pretty good handle on what had happened ... and the woman was still screaming. "Would you be willing to serve as witnesses?" Both replied in the affirmative, at which point the other man said to the deputy, "If it helps at all, I'm the retired chief of police from _______!" Well, you couldn't ask for better; the deputy then thanked my friend for his willingness and went with the retired chief.... |

The moral to this story is to ALWAYS (whenever possible) park in a spot where you can leave by driving forward.

Last night, coming home from Orlando, I'm at the lights at 44 and 468 waiting to proceed on Morse to go home. I look across the intersection and there's a car in my lane coming out of Morse. I can't figure out how he got on the wrong side of the road unless he took a left turn the wrong way in the roundabout coming out of Rohan Rec Center. Fortunately, the light stayed red and he went west on 44. Wonder what would have happened if the light turned green.

My favorite is the person who didn't go around the roundabout and made a left turn going north on Buena Vista Blvd from Belvedere!!!
