Default Fixed Wireless Internet Service

Just wanted to say, Verizon has updated their 5G Fixed Wireless Internet coverage here in the Villages. Just with my iPhone16 I was able to get 500Mbs+ speeds in my home. I was even able to turn on my iPhone Hot Spot and run my Apple TV from that internet.

That said, If you live in a Village where all you can get is Spectrum or Xfinity, and you are looking for a new provider, Verizon's 5G Fixed Wireless may be the solution for you. Their Wifi device works really well and they are giving you a 5 Year lock on the price. If you have Verizon phones, you get an extra discount.

This could be good news for those who are stuck with cable and want a cheaper and longer price locked service.

Oddly, Verizon would love to sell me "business" internet for a higher price, but "home" internet isn't available at my address.

That sounds very high for a wireless 5G service

Kind of old news. The only problem is that they are not accepting new customers in my area (Lake Sumter). I have been on their wait list for over 1 year.
